JDA staff have been involved in a number of subdivision planning projects on the East Coast. These projects incorporated "Green" principals of Low-Impact Development (LID). These sites are characterized by having greater than 50% open space, trails, parks and commercial development without sacrificing the total number of units on site. This is a true win-win for all parties and where it makes economic sense we encourage our clients to develop via LID. To help make that decision JDA staff can conduct a cost-benefit analysis for a project using Conventional Development and Low-Impact Development.
